Join the UMC Election Observers Program and learn about the history of voting in the United States, the sacred nature of the vote, and how to become an election observer in your community. To support this work, Church and Society has created the UMC Election Observers Program to equip United Methodists to serve as election observers. Over six weeks, participants will explore the history of voting in the United States, the sacred nature of the vote, the role and responsibilities of election observers, and how to become an observer in their state and local community. Brotherhood: A Cinematic Musical

St. Luke's is hosting The "Love Your Neighbor" Tour to promote Brotherhood: A Cinematic Musical. Presented in partnership with &Campaign, this inspiring evening event will highlight a mix of storytelling, live music, segments from the film, and guided conversations that explore themes of identity, empathy, and seeing our neighbors with new eyes. Emmy-winning Broadway and television actor Mauricio Martinéz leads the cast opposite professional vocalist Casey Elliott, a founding member of the tenor trio GENTRI. The film will premiere in theaters across the United States and Mexico in Fall 2026.

ERTs provide a caring Christian presence in the aftermath of a disaster. ERTs help to prevent further damage to personal properties by tarping, removing debris, and cleaning out flooded areas. They offer both helping hands and hope to those in need. ERTs must complete a one-day training that focuses on working with those impacted by disaster, procedures, and site safety. An ERT Basic Training Class for Indiana will be held: Saturday, September 12, 2026, 8:30am – 5:00pm St. Luke’s UMC, 100 W 86th St, Indianapolis, IN 46260 Lunch, snacks and all materials will be provided

Out of Darkness Suicide Awareness Walk

Support St. Luke's Suicide Loss Support Group as we participate in this year's Out of the Darkness Walk! This walk will take place on September 12th at Military Park, Indianapolis, IN. This walk is for those who have lost someone to suicide, for those who have personally struggled or are currently struggling, and for all who stand alongside them in love and support. Together, we walk to bring awareness, break the silence, and remind our community that no one is alone.
