Creation Care - Green Home Symposium

Saturday, April 26 10:00 AM
North Indy Narthex

In Genesis 1:26-31 and 2:15, God calls us to be caretakers of the natural world. Whether you're already involved in this work or are wondering how to get started, we invite you to join us for the Green Home Symposium on April 26th.

Featuring keynote speaker Dr. Gabriel Filippelli, Executive Director, IU Environmental Resilience Institute, a presentation on home electrification by Rick Newsome, St. Luke’s Creation Care Ministry, and a lively panel discussion with local environmental experts, this event promises to shed light on practical actions you can take to reduce the carbon emissions that result from everyday activities at our homes and to live more in tune with nature. Following the main session and panel discussion, you can visit exhibits where you can learn more from local experts, make commitments for climate action, and even pick up a tree seedling to plant at home!

This event is family-friendly. Childcare for ages five and under is available with registration.
