Shelly comes to St. Luke's with a background in both finance and outreach, with 20 years of volunteer and vocational leadership in church and non-profit settings. She and her husband Kevin have been married for 29+ years, have 2 grown daughters, and live in the Nora community. They enjoy traveling, and spending lots of time with family and friends. They especially love to host cookouts and firepit nights...when the Indiana weather allows!

As a seasoned retail marketer, Susan spent most of her career with Delta Faucet Company helping people discover products and services that make everyday life a little easier. Collaborating with large corporate retailers like The Home Depot and Lowe’s Home Improvement Centers. She also served as one of the founding executive leaders for Delta’s DE&I corporate initiatives. Getting to know and help people live a life fulfilled has always been her true passion. Susan has been a member of St. Luke’s since 1998. Her volunteer time at St. Luke’s Freedom School led her to her current calling as Assistant Director of Outreach and Justice. Her self-care passions are working up a good sweat to 80’s alternative music (blame that on her college DJ days) and taking long walks with her husband Rick and their Australian Shepherd, Scout.

Born and raised in southern Indiana and a country girl at heart, Samantha has lived in Indianapolis for the last 5 years. She comes to St. Luke’s with a bachelor’s degree from Hanover College and a background in event planning. She is eager to use her experience and skills to serve the members of St. Luke’s and the surrounding community. Some of Samantha’s hobbies include board games and puzzles, reading, watching IU basketball, and traveling – she and her husband have a goal to visit all the National Parks!
